MA course Eastern Christianity

In the coming semester (Sept-Dec 2009) I will again teach the course Christianity in the Ottoman Empire, part of the Master programma Religious Studies, Track: Christianity of the Middle East.

Students of other MA-programmes are welcome to join, provided they have basic knowledge of the history of Christianity and/or the (early) modern history of the Middle East. The course is concluded by two term papers (5 EC), and, optionally, can be extended with a research paper (5 EC).

BA-students who are interested in the subject are also encouraged to contact me; if similar basic knowledge of the subject matter can be shown as well as sufficient level of English, they are welcome to join.
